Seeing how I got on the subject with wolf I was wundering what every one uses or has used that works GOOD! I realy want to buy or make a new one but am looking for some ideas. I already have the tylical piece of leaf spring welded to a piece of pipe. It works all right but I know there has got to be better!

get your self a needel nose 3 sided ice chisel hard to come buy you might have to get it made at a machine shop

I have a couple of these. they go through ice pretty quick. Milles Lac Ice Chisel by Jiffy i think I paid $25ea at Canadian Tire. Close up of the end. Probably not hard to make............................

I wundered about them. I read good reviews but I was wundering about some tough work like mid-winter beaver trapping. Thanks!

They definitely are not a pry bar.......thats my only complaint is if you try to use it to pry an ice chunk or what, ever they will bend.
Now that I'm older and wiser, I would never chisel a hole anyways. Thats why god made Husqvarnas. ;D
