The following are the fresh quantities of fur for the May Sale.
FRESH QUANTITIES EXPECTED FOR NAFA’S MAY SALE
140,000 Beaver
90,000 Coyotes
25,000 Lynx/Lynx Cats
40,000 Marten/Sable
½ Million Muskrats
15,000 Otter
600,00 Raccoon
40,000 Red Fox
All other wild fur varieties are up significantly

Yes indeed it is higher quantities than we have seen in some time. Keep in mind there is more fur there than that. This is "fresh" goods, those skins that are being offered for a first time. I would suspect with the recent market upswing that a lot of furs came out of deep freezers.
