finnaly got a neadle bar ! The wife and kids got it for me for fathers day. It is 6' long and wieghts 16 pounds. I

Ice chisel with a long three sided point on it. I thing they are heated and beaten that way. The three sides are very sharp as well as the point. They are supposed to be the answer for chasing beaver through deep ice.

If i can make a suggestion oldyote, take your chisel and on your 3 sides make them concave this will greatly help in having a stuck chisel. It is very effective. |

You mean to cup them out? Any suggestions on how ? Is your blue lightning like that? Did it come like that or did you do it?

Oldyote im in need of another ice bar. yours sounds like it is very good. Would you please take a pic of it for me and where you got it from please. If you take a pic could you do a close up of the actuall point.

I did take a pic but photo bucket is giving me grief if you PM your email I will email it to you through my phone and won't have to go through photo bucket. Lol. I will have to learn soon enough how to post pics again but my patience has not been my stong point the last time I tried to post pics of it!
