Stackable boxes are not new for marten trapping but they are generally designed to fit 120 size traps only. The idea to have a stackable trap box that will accomodate 3 different size traps is new to me. I picked up this idea from another trapper on another forum and made a few for my own to my specs which I plan to use in areas where I catch fisher as well as marten. The larger opening should appeal to the larger fisher which may shy away from the smaller opening of a normal marten box. The box is 14" long with a front opening of 10"sq and the back 5"sq covered with wire mesh. The trap spring slots are 8" deep. This "univeral box" will accomodate 120, 160 and 220 size traps.

The only constant in trapping is change, so keep learning.
