This past week have been working to turn my garage from a unheat, uninsulated cave into a proper work and skinning area. My house has a two bay attached garage that was used mainly for storage, I was skinning last week and after a couple of beaver my hands were so cool I had to stop. Enough was enough, planned all year on doing this so spend most of this week with my brother's help insulating putting up vapour barrier and drywalling. Nothing is a simple as you think, figured on two maybe three days work. Had to add extra 2x4s to close out and finish the ceiling and walls. Plus frame in a ceiling hatch. Hardest part is moving everything 4 times to clear a work area. Had to change the garage door gasket because the squirrels had chewed off the end, that took almost an hour with 3 of us pushing and pulling the new seal on. Still trying to skin a few critters while doing this job. Should be finished today, have started to add lights and will make a drying rack for beaver. Jim

Glad your garage is packed like mine! Every spring we clean it and one of the kids always comment how big it looks!!

Always nice to have a warm place to work. You will do a better job when you are comfortable. Good job on the renovations.
Looks like you need to have a "garage" sale.
