Ever have those belly wedges stick. Drill a hole to accommodate a large spike. If your belly wedge sticks slip the spike through the hole and pull ... out it comes. Works real well on otter where sticking is more likely. Also a tiny wedge under the end of your main belly wedge is easy to remove and loosens the stuck wedge.

Very good tip Ron. All my belly boards have holes in the end just for that. The added spacer was new idea for me. Thanks for the post.
