Well we had the family come over today for turkey surprise. My brother and wife came in from the cabin and said Brad my nephew would not be in for Thanksgiving dinner as he got his moose this morning and wanted to stay and party at the cabin.......young kids now a days....,lol. So at 6.45 we sit down to eat and my dog starts to bark out the front window. I go look and there is a deer in the front yard heading into the back yard. My oldest son who is home for Thanksgiving says there is another one in the back yard. By the time I get the bow and enter onto the back deck there are two now. I shoot the big doe and both deer run off. It is almost dark and I can see the light of the back of the arrow sticking in the ground. So I know the arrow has passed through the deer and dropped to ground. 3 minutes later the other doe comes back and I repeat same process. 45 minutes later after dinner we collect. Could not ask for a better thanksgiving. Moose and deer. this is the bigger doe which my niece tagged and this is the smaller one. Another one for my son.
