The only real thng I do difrent is I make the lid alittle longer so it over hangs the hole to help keep the snow out.

Heres my alternative to the wood boxes. Cheap, quick to make and they work well. I call it the "Poor Man's Weasel Box".   |

thanks white. Never targeted weasel before but a fellow trapper and good friend has some people coming up to do some ice fishing from the States and are bringing 4 dozen rat traps for half the price that we can buy them here. So looks like i have to build some boxes this summer.
