That sucks Oldyote, I wish they could hold off till season. I didn't think they were alowed poison predators any more? Have they forgot the mess they made over here droppin wolf poisin, killed every thing with fur and then some. Or are they usin them little sionide pill traps that only get the one critter?? Iether way it is a crap deel for you, Maybe they will get such bad PR over the poison that next time it would be cheeper to hire you to do it.

well i broke down and went out and set up a couple baits . Not sure how successful Iwill be but I its the only way a slob trapper like me can catch them in any numbers. Ipaired up with another fellow from a near by town so between the two of us we will be able to give them the attention they need. We are set up very close to town so I hope it dosen't come back at me with an incedental catch . Well thats were they wanted me . I hope to show them a few dead coyotes and calm things down till they prime up. They are going to give us a few bucks but I still prefer to sell the hide. o well at least it will hold off the poisoning campaign.

my parntner checked the snares today had we had one pup. I am sure if we poured the bait to them we could be more successful but I am just buying time till november. Still not bad for a first check we only have 8 rams out. On a side note the co's gave me a permit to use free hanging neck snares. This is the first on I got in ten years they always flat out refuse me. Anyways when he told me this I said what good is that I don't own any, he just assumed I had a bundle of ilegal snares laying around. He also said the the 24 hour check law when within 3 km"s of town dosn't apply. Funny how they can make up there own rules when it works to there advantage.

Ya I don't usualy make a habit out of using road kill . Alaways scared someone will come accross it and get the wrong idea, even though permits are as simple as a phone call.
