Just run part of my line today as we were headed to town for a grub run. Yesterday I had a mink tear up a weasel box and steal the bait and trap out of the box, looks like I had caught a mouse in the trap by the fur, he must have carryd to trap off to eat it come were else, never did find the trap :cry: So we put a martin box and a 120 ldl were the weasel box was and this mornin he was waiti for me   |

Well it hase bean a slow week on the line,,,,,,,,,,till yesterday I ran up to my wolf bait and had these 2 critters waitin on me.   This big male waighd 96lbs and was the first wolf I have snared   This little female was caught in a blind trail set, she waighed 65 lbs. Now the bad part was both of them had mange, thats 3 for 3 so I am bettin my hole pack has it, oh well at least they arent going to be spreadin it around any more. I also snarred a nice little coyote but for got to get a pix |

Good Catch, sorry about the mange. Hopefully by catching those that are infected with it, you can save a few for seeed. When the yotes around here get it, they do not last through the winter usually

Thanks fellas for all the replies, I hope after I catch all these wolfs the next pack that moves in will not have the mange bugs, at least these ones arnt out there spreadin it around any more.

Here is a pix of the coyote I got yesterday.  I caught him in a snare with a stinger kill springs on it and it sure worked good, I have caught most of my coyotes on them and that wolf too, when they get them springs compressed they sure dont last long. |
