Thanks fellas I am glade you are still enjoyin my updates lol I went out to set some more martin and coyote traps this after noon and found a silly coyote that stood broad side at 207 yards, so I shot him with my 204 ruger, I have not skinned it yet but I cant see and entrance or evet hole, not even any blood. Gota like that.  |

I got him just into the sholder alittle and there was a tiny hole in and one out, no big blood shot or nothen, kinda like that, if the 204 keeps doin this it may become my farvite coyote killer lol. I found out a while nack if you mess up and spine shoot them you will have to do some sewin to get the pelt on a board lol

Had a great run on the line today, a real mixed bag of catches. First thing I caught this mornin was a nice big buck mink, that is #3 for the year.  Same as the last mink, the nabors old box with beaver meat. Next just 50 yards from the mink I had set a blind trail set on a beaver dam a couple days ago, today was the day for it to pay off.  the trap was on 12 feet of chain and a drag but the silly coyote never hardly moved the grapple befor he got tangled, he was supposet to run off the dam and get tangled not run back out on the dam. He looked kinda funny to me when he was in the trap but after I dispached him I finaly saw what was wierd about him. He was bob tailed, it is all heald over and furred up so it mast have happend along time ago.  Then I shot another squirrel, but forgot to take a pix, sorry. At the next stop I had this little critter waitin on me, first of the year, I love catchin fox.  And last but not least musk rat #99  I just need one more lol. The suspence is killin me lol. |
