Set up another bait today. I had put out about 400 pounds of pork. Was a good sign when coyotes where running when I com over the hill. There is about 200 pounds left. The ram's all rigged and ready. And a little scenery. I know you can't see it but there is a coyote in the distnce looking at me.

Oh I forgot to mention, did everyone else but me know that a whole pork does not freeze? That old sow hung in the un- heated shop for ten days with average temps probably @-17. Let me tell you it was something when I cut into it with my chain saw! And the smell well it was something that is really original to a pig. Lol.

Had a good run today! 6 coyotes and one fox. The weasel tin has tracks all over it and he ate half the bait but the trap missed him. None of the yotes are top lot material but 5 are alright . The one female has matted fur in front of her hips , large spots like the size my fist. Anything I can do with that? I think she will by nfg. Also had two broken snares. I am so pi.... at them 3/64 snares. You know it is rediculous that I am forced to use them. I always say that I loose 10% but I am at 23% . I think it is all the snow that is causing it but what can I do I already got them hanging high off there tracks but i thinlk they must be lifting there feet extra high or something . I am ticked off . The people that make these rules must never of tried to run any amount of snares. Besides in all the years I have used them ( the last 10) I have only ever seen one release where it was supposed too and that was a big old cow moose. And let me tell you they will stretch out a big buck if you get him around the nose and if you catch his foot the cable breaks where the trigger rubs the cable on the ram. Sorry juyst blowing off some steam.
