Got a call from some people that have some beaver problems so i went out yesterday to look at the situation. While i was there i seen 5 beaver and the most otter poop i have ever seen. They have a small river that flows through there property. Set 4 traps and went today to check.   caught these two over night and had one sprung trap. The beaver on the left is 51 lbs and the other one is 49 lbs.   put the otter on the board today, not as blue as i thought it would be  First beaver on the board for this year. Put 3 on today. Tomorrow have to run and check those beaver sets and get some more fleshing done if i have time. |

Plan was for some beaver trapping on the weekend but that ended shortly.   Ended up taking a cow moose. There was 2 cows and one bull together. The pic of the bull you can see the cow moose i had just shot about 2 minutes before to the left lying down. The bull manged to get the cow up and run but i took another shot which finisher her. Seems when i try for moose nothing, and when i just go beaver trapping things like this happen. Well i;m glad it's over and can get back to beavers. |
