In from the line this afternoon, a few more beaver and another moose. Things looking good out there so will head back out Wednesday to start setting for land animals. This pic is what i happened to spot some thing black turned out it was a little spiker bull My nephew was down and his bull tag i filled. one half mile from the cabin. Luck was with me. We had just come back from the morning hunt and i was heading to check some beaver sets when i spotted the moose, it took another 5 minutes to determine if it was a bull or cow. This is my little pine marten that has been feeding on my beaver bait pile at the cabin, there is another one which is much darker but he is more cautious. This is all thats left of my bait station i set up last week for wolves re-baited again and another moose hide over top. Could not find the moose head or the old hide that was there last week. But they sure did leave me some nice trails to set up.
