Past week have been busy doing up some beaver and marten and some wolves, trying to get everything done before the fur pic up. Sunday will head out to the line for another check.Managed to also get in some Christmas shopping for the wife. This year i think she will be happy as i got some good deals at the gas station.

Yes the wife is the hardest to buy for but she gave me a good list this year. I was only kidding about the gas station Greg, figure i would add a bit of humor to see if i can get some responses going.

Seemed like a month but has only been 7 days from last check.Things went not to bad for what i had out but the lynx,fox and wolf have seemed to stop moving. We are starting to get more snow and the weather has warmed up from the cold spell we had. The bike was plowing snow today so will switch this week to winter tire's.Picked up 3 marten,2 in mink boxes and one in a lynx cubby set with a 330. That marten had some mice chew on one leg. Also another fisher in a lynx cubby which will make 15 for the year and another slider and wolf.

Nice haul, I guess you are about to put your tracks on the 4 wheeler? Those are so cool.

Thanks Harold, Yes tracks will put on this week. There is only one trail that i have to go down and it's about mile and half but that has 3 cat sets on it. I was so hoping to pull it this time out but i'm still trying for one more cat(darn those things).Want to do some walleye fishing before Xmas or should i say my son,time for the tracks.

Wow Wolf you have had one heck of a good run this year, I could ony hope to catch that many critters in one seasen. Heres hopen you still fill a few more cat sets befor fishin season.

Yes Fuzz this has been by far my best year. Was out today, last check before xmas. Pulled two wolf sets and some fox sets. Had one nice male wolf in one snare but the birds got to him first, one less i have to skin or worry about. Had 4 otter go through one of my sets and one trap was froze in and the otter slid right through bending the triggers straight back but the other one was under the water and connected. Picked up a couple of female mink and a couple more marten as well as another fox.
