.......but in the meantime, how about fox? Got another one this morning! FINALLY a big gorgeous male! Unfortunately I had something in the other dirt hole I had there and it pulled out, and something put a few tracks down around my flat set. In a hurry this morning and couldn't tell, but looked like fox to me. I hope the one I caught this morning was the same one that pulled free, they are seeming to not be to awful leery there. Who knows. I am happy with this one though! With just 3 sets out, I can't complain with the 3 I have caught!  |

Thanks guys! sorry I've been gone, been trying to get a cat/fox line going and seem to be meeting with adversity. No big deal, we will get though it, it's just slowing us down. We did however pick up 5 more muskrats over yesterday and today. Should get quite a few more, plus set out some beaver sets today. Later!

Thanks for the encouragement guys! Been kinda lolygagin around, waiting for sundays deer rifle season to end. Too many people out and about to take much of a chance with eye catching cat sets. I did get out and I made a couple of beaver sets, and still have 2 fox sets and some rat sets out. took another rat, and am playing cat and mouse with a wiley red. Nailed the 2 beavers yesterday. here they are.  Hopefully soon I will get that sly little fox!   |

Thanks guys! ;D  Well not to much happened today. picked up 1 rat, and am still playing chess with that dang red. He is really making me think! I changed up on him a bit, and went to full modified traps, using some different stratagies...... we will see, but he seems pretty smart! I already love him! (or her). It's always at these times that I learn the most, and remember the animal and situation, whether I take the critter or not! But I sure plan to get him! Also made our first few cat sets today, along with a yote set. Had to try them mb 650's out! I can't wait to see how they do! Good luck everyone, see ya tomorrow! |
